Sam-R-I is a samurai-themed superhero who acts as a member of The Justice Friends.

Personality

Sam-R-I is quite serious and honorable, and enjoys narrating himself while making dramatic entrances. He is also quite overconfident.

Abilities

He appears to be a master swordsman and martial artist. He carries with him a Japanese sword known as a katana which he seems to be quite proficient with, but despite this, his sword was not strong enough to cut the hide of Badaxtra. However, the fact that he was one of the few heroes summoned by Rasslor to represent his planet shows that he is one of the most powerful heroes on Earth.

Superpowers

• Flight: Sam-R-I has shown the ability to fly through space at great speeds, although judging from his stance, he may have just pushed himself with great force towards Earth, much like Krunk did.
• Super Speed: While his running speed is unknown, Sam-R-I has shown to be incredibly fast while in flight, able to keep up with the likes of Major Glory, Living Bullet and the other heroes while in space.
• Thunder Manipulation: Sam-R-I has been shown to posses the ability to create thunder and possibly lightning in a dazzling and very loud flash.

Trivia

• Sam-R-I is likely a parody of Samurai from DC Comics and Silver Samurai from Marvel.
  • His name is also a parody of Sam-I-Am from the Dr. Seuss children's book Green Eggs and Ham.
    • This is further hinted at in the episode Dial M for Monkey: Rasslor where Rasslor defeats Sam-R-I while reciting several rhymes resembling those from the book.
